Senior AI/ML Developer

We are seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer who is passionate about advancing Artificial Intelligence and eager to contribute to real-world AI systems. This role involves working with a variety of technologies including Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Generative AI, and Time-Series models. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in machine learning and Python programming, with a desire to grow into a production-focused AI engineer. You will collaborate closely with senior engineers to build, test, and deploy AI models that solve practical problems.

Key Responsibilities

Machine Learning Development
- Assist in building and training machine learning and deep learning models.
- Perform data preprocessing and feature engineering to improve model performance.
- Train and evaluate models using Python libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Scikit-learn.
- Conduct experiments and document results to support continuous improvement.

Computer Vision (Basic to Intermediate)
- Work with image datasets for tasks including classification, detection, and segmentation.
- Support implementation of YOLO models, CNN-based classifiers, and image embedding models.
- Utilize OpenCV for image processing tasks.

NLP & Generative AI (Foundational Level)
- Work with transformer models like BERT and GPT.
- Build basic text classification, summarization, and chatbot pipelines.
- Assist in implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, embedding-based search, and prompt engineering experiments.

Time Series & Predictive Modeling
- Develop simple forecasting models using ARIMA, Prophet, and basic LSTM architectures.
- Analyze trends and detect anomalies in time-series data.

Deployment & MLOps (Basic Level)
- Build simple APIs using FastAPI or Flask to serve ML models.
- Assist in containerizing models with Docker.
- Gain familiarity with cloud deployment concepts, model monitoring, and logging.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or a related field.
- 5 to 6 years of overall software development experience.
- Over 4 years of hands-on experience in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
- 2 to 3+ years working with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI Agents, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and modern AI platforms.

Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in Python programming.
- Solid understanding of machine learning fundamentals including supervised vs unsupervised learning, overfitting/underfitting, and model evaluation metrics.
- Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow (at least one), Scikit-learn, Pandas, and NumPy.
- Basic understanding of deep learning concepts.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

Computer Vision
- Understanding of Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs).
- Experience working on at least one image-based project.

NLP
- Basic knowledge of transformer architectures.
- Experience using HuggingFace libraries is preferred.

Soft Skills
- Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn.
- Ability to read and comprehend technical documentation and research papers.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate within a team.
