This is a grant-funded contractual role focused on supporting field-based research activities, administrative functions, and operational duties within community and rural settings. Key Responsibilities:
- Motivate and enroll study participants for research projects, collect data, assist with data cleaning, and manage the collection of biological specimens.
- Provide operational and administrative support as directed by the supervisor.
- Verify invoices and bills related to grant-funded activities and prepare payment requests accordingly.
- Coordinate procurement processes, prepare Records of Payments (ROP), and ensure timely dispatch of courier services to the TCS office.
- Deliver finance-related documents to appropriate departments and maintain organized physical and digital filing systems.
- Assist new employees with joining formalities and coordinate travel and transport arrangements for official visits by research staff.
- Initiate online material stock requisitions and purchase requests, follow up on deliveries, and maintain accurate stock records.
- Support human resources-related administrative tasks for the study team.
- Visit field sites to provide administrative assistance during workshops, meetings, and monitoring activities.
- Conduct audits of field offices both within Karachi and in other locations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution.
- Fresh graduates or candidates with up to one year of relevant work experience are encouraged to apply.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with community members and study participants.
- Willingness and ability to work in community and rural field settings.
- Proficiency in computer applications, especially MS Office and Excel.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Flexibility to work additional hours when required.
