Salman & Raheel Chartered Accountants, a reputable chartered accountancy firm based in Karachi, Pakistan, is seeking experienced audit professionals to join their team on a full-time basis. The firm provides audit, tax, advisory, and outsourcing services to a diverse portfolio of local and international clients. The successful candidates will lead statutory audit engagements across various sectors including construction, infrastructure consultancy, management consultancy, and IT and security services. This role requires managing audits independently, supervising fieldwork, liaising closely with clients, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality audit reports.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute audit engagements in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
- Serve as job in-charge or audit supervisor by managing assigned audit areas, reviewing team members’ work, and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Prepare financial statements from trial balances, including consolidated financial statements.
- Apply International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), particularly IFRS 15 (Revenue), IFRS 9 (Financial Instruments), and IFRS 16 (Leases), to client transactions.
- Participate in group audits and coordinate with component audit teams.
- Maintain comprehensive and well-organized audit documentation using audit software.
- Communicate effectively with client management, follow up on outstanding audit requirements, and resolve audit issues.
- Build and sustain strong professional relationships with clients.

Required Qualifications
- Qualified or part-qualified ACCA, CA, CPA, or equivalent professional certification.
- A minimum of 6 to 7 years of relevant audit experience.
- Completion of articleship at a Big 6 audit firm.
- Strong working knowledge of IFRS, especially IFRS 15, IFRS 9, and IFRS 16, and ISA.
- Proven experience in preparing financial statements from trial balances and consolidated financial statements.
- Prior experience serving as job in-charge or audit supervisor.
- Hands-on experience with audit software and maintaining audit documentation.
- Excellent client communication skills, strong time management, and ability to build client relationships.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Audit experience in the GCC region is considered a strong advantage.

Preferred Sector Experience and Benefits
Experience in sectors such as construction, infrastructure consultancy, management consultancy, and IT and security services is highly preferred. The position offers a competitive pay rate starting from Rs80,000 per hour. The work location is in person at the Karachi office.
