Senior AutoCAD Designer

The Senior AutoCAD Designer role is based in Lahore, Pakistan, and reports directly to the Business Unit Manager. This full-time, on-site position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from PKR 230,000 to 300,000. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in construction and steel fabrication design, with a strong command of AutoCAD 3D and fluency in English, both written and verbal. This position is suited for a degree-qualified engineer or architect who can produce precise 2D and 3D technical drawings, fabrication designs, and models for international construction and steel projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Produce accurate 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings for both custom and standard access systems.
- Develop detailed fabrication drawings that ensure material and structural accuracy.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, fabricators, and architects to maintain project alignment and quality.
- Manage projects through all design phases, including effective communication and coordination with clients.
- Conduct site surveys and accurately interpret architectural and structural drawings.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant safety, fabrication, and construction standards.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior draughtsmen and estimators to support their professional development.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of proven design experience specifically in construction or steel fabrication.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and AutoCAD 3D or Inventor software is essential.
- Strong knowledge of materials, fabrication processes, and installation methods relevant to construction and steel fabrication.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across teams and manage projects efficiently.
