Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer

Treasury Cube is seeking a Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer to join their team in a full-time remote capacity. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and highly available Azure environments that support the company’s cloud-based treasury management solutions. The ideal candidate will manage Azure infrastructure resources daily, monitor system performance, optimize costs, and ensure reliability across multiple environments. This position requires advanced system administration skills, automation of deployment and configuration workflows, and the development of robust backup, recovery, and business continuity strategies. Collaboration with security, development, and operations teams is essential to maintain network security, troubleshoot complex issues, and continuously enhance infrastructure standards and documentation.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage Azure IaaS and PaaS infrastructure to support Treasury Cube’s cloud solutions.
- Perform advanced system administration tasks including OS management, patching, monitoring, and automation.
- Monitor system performance and optimize infrastructure cost and reliability.
- Develop and maintain automated deployment and configuration workflows using Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Implement and manage backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability strategies within Azure environments.
- Collaborate closely with security teams to enforce network security policies, identity and access management, and encryption standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure and performance issues.
- Maintain clear and comprehensive infrastructure documentation and continuously improve operational best practices.
- Work effectively within a remote, cross-functional team environment, ensuring clear communication and coordination.

Required Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Azure infrastructure design, deployment, and lifecycle management, including both IaaS and PaaS services.
- Proficiency in system administration covering operating system management, patching, monitoring, and automation.
- Solid networking knowledge including virtual networks, VPNs, routing, firewalls, and load balancing in Azure.
- Experience with network security concepts such as identity and access management, encryption, and security policies.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving complex cloud infrastructure and performance issues.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform, and CI/CD pipeline integration.
- Understanding of backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability design principles within Azure.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team setting with strong communication and documentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
