Senior Backend Developer

We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise in C# and .NET to join our team on a full-time basis in Sweden. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 10 years of experience and a solid background in backend development within the Asset Management domain. Fluency in both Swedish and English is mandatory, and Swedish nationality is preferred. This is a 12-month contract role that involves working closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver robust backend solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain backend applications using C# and the .NET Framework/.NET platform.
- Design, develop, and optimize SQL Server databases and data models to support application needs.
- Build and support complex integrations and data flow processes, ensuring seamless data exchange across systems.
- Configure and manage application and integration environments to maintain stability and performance.
- Implement and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and automated deployment processes.
- Apply DevOps best practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles to streamline operations.
- Troubleshoot production issues promptly and optimize system performance for reliability and efficiency.
- Conduct thorough requirements analysis and collaborate effectively with business stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.
- Participate actively in Agile development processes, including Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
- Support application deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and incident resolution activities to ensure smooth operations.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 5 years of backend development experience using C# and .NET Framework/.NET.
- Proven experience working within the Asset Management domain is mandatory.
- Strong expertise in SQL Server, including database development and data modeling.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain complex integrations and data flows.
- Extensive experience working in on-premises Microsoft environments.
- Hands-on experience in establishing and configuring application and integration environments.
- Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated build and release processes.
- Practical understanding of DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Proficiency with version control and DevOps tools such as Git and Azure DevOps or their equivalents.
- Excellent troubleshooting, incident management, and system performance optimization skills.
- Experience in requirements analysis and effective collaboration with stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks like Scrum or Kanban.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js, or Blazor.
- Understanding of frontend-backend system interactions and full-stack development environments.
- Knowledge of API integration and modern frontend architectures.
