Senior Backend Developer

We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise in C# and .NET to join our team in Sweden on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 10 years of experience in backend development, particularly within the Asset Management domain. Fluency in both Swedish and English is mandatory, and preference will be given to Swedish nationals. This role is initially offered for a 12-month period and involves working closely with business stakeholders to deliver robust backend solutions, optimize system performance, and support continuous integration and deployment processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain backend applications using C# and the .NET Framework/.NET platform.
- Design, develop, and optimize SQL Server databases and data models to support application needs.
- Build and maintain complex integrations and data flow processes across systems.
- Configure and manage application and integration environments to ensure stability and scalability.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes to streamline releases.
- Apply DevOps best practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles to improve operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot production issues promptly and optimize system performance for reliability.
- Conduct thorough requirements analysis and collaborate effectively with business stakeholders.
- Participate actively in Agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Support application deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and incident resolution activities.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in backend development using C# and .NET Framework/.NET.
- Proven experience working within the Asset Management domain is mandatory.
- Strong expertise in SQL Server, including database development and data modeling.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain complex integrations and data flows.
- Extensive experience working in on-premises Microsoft environments.
- Hands-on experience in establishing and configuring application and integration environments.
- Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and automated build and release processes.
- Practical knowledge of DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Experience using version control and DevOps tools such as Git and Azure DevOps or equivalents.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, with a focus on incident management and performance optimization.
- Experience in requirements analysis and effective collaboration with stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks, including Scrum and Kanban.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Skills

- Experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js, or Blazor.
- Understanding of interactions between frontend and backend systems.
- Exposure to full-stack development environments is advantageous.
- Knowledge of API integration and modern frontend architectures is a plus.
