Senior BI Analyst

Jeeny is a leading mobile application designed to simplify daily commuting and transportation by connecting users with their preferred modes of travel. Established in 2014 as Easy Taxi and rebranded in 2016 to expand its service offerings, Jeeny operates primarily in Saudi Arabia and Jordan. As a joint venture between MEIG (Middle East Internet Group), Rocket Internet, and IMENA, the company maintains offices across Riyadh, Jeddah, Madinah, Dammam, Khobar, Amman, Lahore, and Karachi. We are currently seeking a Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst who is detail-oriented and analytical to transform complex data into actionable insights that support strategic and operational decisions. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to analyze data, develop dashboards, and generate reports that enhance business performance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform data analysis utilizing SQL, Power BI, and SSAS cubes to extract meaningful insights.
- Respond promptly to data-related inquiries from various business units.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize financial reports and BI dashboards to support decision-making.
- Manage ad-hoc reporting requests while ensuring data quality and integrity across all systems.
- Drive automation and improve BI reporting workflows for efficiency.
- Oversee BI data management using SQL and ensure accuracy in all reporting layers.
- Create comprehensive reports and dashboards using Excel, Tableau, and Power BI.
- Collaborate with business users to understand and address specific data needs and challenges.
- Analyze business processes and data trends to provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure data integrity, quality assurance, and accuracy of BI metrics.
- Work with large datasets, including data modeling and performance tuning, to facilitate efficient analysis.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5 to 7 years of professional experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or reporting roles.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and management.
- Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and Power Query; VBA knowledge is a plus.
- Experience with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling techniques.
- Proficiency in Tableau for building dashboards and reports.
- Familiarity with SSAS, particularly OLAP cubes and multidimensional data analysis.
