Senior BIM Modeler

The Senior BIM Modeler position is a full-time, on-site role based in Lahore or Islamabad, Pakistan. This role involves developing, managing, and updating detailed BIM models across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines throughout the project lifecycle. The Senior BIM Modeler will interpret construction drawings, coordinate model content with design and engineering teams, resolve clashes, and ensure all models comply with project standards and client requirements. Additionally, the role includes preparing model-based documentation, assisting in design reviews, and supporting the creation of accurate quantities and shop drawings. The Senior BIM Modeler will also mentor junior team members, contribute to workflow enhancements, and collaborate closely with project managers and stakeholders to maintain quality and meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and update detailed BIM models for architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines throughout project phases.
- Interpret construction drawings and coordinate model content with design and engineering teams to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts within BIM models to maintain project integrity.
- Prepare model-based documentation and assist in design reviews to support project decision-making.
- Generate accurate quantities and shop drawings based on BIM models.
- Mentor and guide junior BIM modelers to enhance team capabilities.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Contribute to the improvement of BIM workflows and processes to increase efficiency.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in BIM modeling and coordination.
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
- Strong knowledge of BIM standards, BIM Execution Plans (BEP), and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Experience with point cloud data integration, clash detection, and model quality control.
- Familiarity with Common Data Environments (CDE) such as Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), BIM 360, or Aconex.
- Understanding of BIM documentation, drawing standards, and QA/QC processes.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple project deliverables and meet strict deadlines.
