Ayra Engineering Consultants LLC, a well-established architecture and engineering firm headquartered in Sherman Oaks, California, operates across all 50 U.S. states, Canada, and various international markets. The company specializes in delivering coordinated, permit-ready design packages that include Title 24 compliance, COMcheck, construction support, RFIs, and contractor coordination. Ayra is seeking a Senior Business Developer to join their team on a full-time, remote basis to help expand their client base and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities and potential clients to support company growth.
- Generate leads and expand Ayra’s presence across target markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, developers, contractors, and other industry professionals.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation through proposals, negotiations, and closing deals.
- Conduct thorough market and competitor research to uncover new growth opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with technical teams to develop tailored solutions and proposals that meet client needs.
- Prepare compelling presentations, proposals, and sales materials to support business development efforts.
- Track leads, client relationships, and overall business development performance to ensure targets are met.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably within architecture and engineering (A&E), construction, or professional services industries.
- Strong skills in lead generation, communication, negotiation, and presentation.
- Excellent relationship-building capabilities and a customer service-oriented mindset.
- Solid analytical skills and experience conducting market research.
- Proficiency with CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and basic data analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with U.S. and international architecture and engineering markets is considered a plus.
