Microsystem IT Consultancy Services Ltd. is seeking a seasoned Senior Cloud Engineer to join their team in supporting GSK’s cloud infrastructure. This role demands expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, GitHub, Terraform, CI/CD, and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, managing, and maintaining cloud services, ensuring secure, reliable, and automated environments that drive business success.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and manage GCP services including Compute Engine, VPC networking, subnets, firewall rules, Cloud Storage, IAM, GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud DNS, Cloud NAT, Load Balancing, Cloud Logging, and Monitoring.
- Oversee GitHub repository management, including branches, access permissions, pull and push operations, commits, merges, pull requests, code reviews, and resolving merge conflicts.
- Utilize advanced GitHub features such as branch protection rules, CODEOWNERS, GitHub Actions, reusable workflows, self-hosted runners, repository secrets, Dependabot, and deployment approvals.
- Develop and maintain Terraform modules for infrastructure as code, managing remote state files, backend configurations, variables, and automated deployments across GCP and Azure.
- Build and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps to automate infrastructure provisioning, code validation, testing, security checks, and application deployments.
- Support Azure services including Virtual Machines, VNets, NSGs, Azure Firewall, Storage Accounts, Private Endpoints, Entra ID, RBAC, Managed Identities, Azure Monitor, and Log Analytics.
- Manage hybrid and multi-cloud connectivity solutions.
- Apply strong Linux, networking, DNS, cloud security, and IAM knowledge to troubleshoot deployment failures and infrastructure issues.
- Collaborate closely with development, security, and platform teams to maintain secure, efficient, and automated cloud environments.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering roles.
- Hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure.
- Advanced skills in Terraform, including infrastructure as code, reusable modules, and remote state management.
- Proficiency in Git and GitHub repository management, branching strategies, and code review processes.
- Experience building and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.
- Strong scripting and automation capabilities using Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Solid understanding of Linux operating systems, networking concepts, DNS, firewalls, IAM, and hybrid cloud connectivity.
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices, monitoring, logging, access management, and production troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information

Relevant certifications in GCP, Azure, or Terraform are highly desirable and will be considered an advantage. This position is strictly for senior-level professionals with proven experience managing production cloud infrastructure. Academic projects or certifications alone will not satisfy the experience requirements.
