Key Responsibilities

Budgeting & Financial Planning
Lead the full cycle of annual operating budget preparation and quarterly/monthly forecasting, working closely with all departments to align financial plans with corporate strategic goals. Develop, document, and enforce budget policies, cost control procedures, and financial planning guidelines. Build and maintain dynamic, driver-based financial models using tools such as Excel, Hyperion, or similar FP&A software to support forecasting and long-range planning.

Performance Monitoring & Analysis
Conduct detailed monthly and quarterly variance analyses by comparing actual results against budgets and forecasts. Prepare clear, actionable management reports that explain significant budget deviations, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions to senior management.

Cost Management & Optimization
Implement and manage cost accounting systems, including Activity-Based Costing (ABC), to ensure accurate product/service costing and proper allocation of overhead expenses. Lead initiatives to analyze cost structures, identify inefficiencies, and recommend cost-saving measures that enhance operational profitability without sacrificing quality. Evaluate key cost drivers systematically using statistical and analytical methods to improve forecasting accuracy and control.

Working Capital & Liquidity Management
Monitor and optimize key components of net working capital, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Inventory. Analyze the Cash Conversion Cycle (CCC) to identify opportunities to reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), Days Inventory Outstanding (DIO), and Days Payable Outstanding (DPO). Develop and maintain short- and long-term cash flow forecasts to manage liquidity risk and optimize cash utilization.

Required Qualifications

Education & Certification
MBA degree, preferably with a focus on Accounting and Finance. Relevant professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or CFA are strongly preferred.

Technical Skills
Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced cost accounting methodologies, including GAAP/IFRS standards and Activity-Based Costing. Experience with large-scale ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite, and FP&A/EPM software such as Hyperion, Anaplan, or Adaptive Planning. Skilled in data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau to effectively present complex financial data.

Analytical & Soft Skills
Strong analytical abilities to interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and translate findings into strategic business insights. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders. Proven track record of building collaborative relationships across cross-functional teams. Self-motivated with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
