Senior Content Writer

Contour Software, a rapidly growing subsidiary of Constellation Software Inc., is seeking a skilled Content Writer to create clear, engaging, and benefit-driven content focused on construction software. With over 2,000 employees across Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad, Contour serves a global client base spanning multiple time zones. This role involves transforming complex product features into accessible content that resonates with contractors, CFOs, controllers, and project managers. The position requires working closely with marketing leadership, product experts, customers, and sales teams to produce high-quality, publish-ready materials on deadline.

Key Responsibilities
- Produce bylined articles and thought leadership pieces for construction and trade publications.
- Ghostwrite LinkedIn posts for executives and manage copy for the company’s LinkedIn page.
- Write press releases and media announcements.
- Develop new website pages, landing pages, and blog posts optimized for SEO to drive traffic and conversions.
- Apply SEO best practices including keyword targeting, search intent, on-page structure, internal linking, and metadata optimization.
- Refresh and improve existing web content to enhance search rankings and user engagement.
- Structure content for easy discovery by search engines and AI answer tools.
- Convert product team input into feature release announcements, release notes, and launch copy.
- Create sales enablement materials such as one-pagers, product sheets, comparison sheets, and battlecards.
- Interview customers to write compelling case studies and success stories.
- Develop email campaigns, nurture sequences, newsletters, and social media copy tailored to various platforms and audiences.
- Edit and proofread content to ensure consistency with brand voice and style guidelines.
- Maintain and enhance the company’s style guide and messaging library.
- Use AI writing tools responsibly to increase efficiency while ensuring originality and accuracy.
- Manage multiple content pieces simultaneously and meet deadlines aligned with the content calendar.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years professional content writing experience, preferably in B2B or SaaS environments or agencies.
- Near-native proficiency in written English (C2 level).
- A diverse portfolio showcasing long-form articles, web or landing page copy, case studies, and email or social media content.
- Demonstrated ability to simplify technical or complex topics into clear, engaging copy for business audiences.
- Strong knowledge of SEO writing techniques.
- Excellent editing and proofreading skills.
- Ability to deliver fast, reliable turnaround and incorporate feedback effectively.
- Experience working with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, HubSpot) and collaboration tools (e.g., Google Docs, Asana).
