Senior Content Writer

Contour Software, a rapidly growing subsidiary of Constellation Software Inc., is seeking a skilled Content Writer to join their dynamic team. With over 2,000 employees across Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad, Contour supports a global enterprise software conglomerate serving customers in more than 100 countries. This role focuses on crafting clear, engaging, and benefit-driven content that simplifies complex construction software features for contractors, CFOs, controllers, and project managers. The ideal candidate will work closely with marketing leadership, product experts, customers, and sales teams to deliver high-quality, publish-ready content on tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
- Write bylined articles and thought leadership pieces for construction and trade publications.
- Ghostwrite LinkedIn posts for executives and create copy for the company’s LinkedIn page.
- Develop press releases and media announcements.
- Create new website pages, landing pages, and blog posts optimized for SEO to drive traffic and conversions.
- Apply SEO best practices including keyword targeting, search intent, on-page structure, internal linking, and metadata.
- Refresh and improve existing web content to enhance performance.
- Structure content for easy discovery by search engines and AI answer tools.
- Translate product team input into feature release announcements, release notes, and launch copy.
- Produce sales enablement materials such as one-pagers, product sheets, comparison sheets, and battlecards.
- Interview customers to write compelling case studies and customer stories.
- Write email campaigns, nurture sequences, newsletters, and social media copy tailored to various audiences and platforms.
- Edit and proofread your own work and that of others, ensuring consistency with the brand voice and style guide.
- Contribute to maintaining and improving the company’s style guide and messaging library.
- Use AI writing tools responsibly to increase efficiency while maintaining accuracy, originality, and voice.
- Manage multiple content pieces simultaneously and deliver on time according to the content calendar.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ professional content writing experience, preferably in B2B or SaaS environments or agencies.
- Near-native English writing skills (C2 level).
- A diverse portfolio including long-form articles, web or landing page copy, case studies, and email or social media content.
- Proven ability to simplify technical or complex topics into clear, engaging copy for business audiences.
- Strong understanding of SEO writing principles.
- Excellent editing and proofreading skills.
- Ability to deliver fast, reliable turnaround and accept feedback constructively.
- Experience working with CMS platforms such as WordPress or HubSpot and collaboration tools like Google Docs and Asana.
