A leading Chinese technology company is seeking a highly skilled Senior CS Core Planning Engineer to join their team in Islamabad. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in CS core network planning, capacity analysis, network design, optimization, and project support integration. This role requires a strong technical background and the ability to manage complex network environments while collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure efficient network performance and growth.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor network utilization, analyze growth trends, forecast traffic, and conduct capacity analysis across CS core network elements.
- Develop and understand end-to-end High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) for CS core products including MSC, STPs, SVC, and HLR.
- Recommend and implement network optimization initiatives to enhance efficiency and service quality.
- Manage CapEx planning, budget forecasting, Bill of Materials (BOM) preparation, Request for Proposals (RFPs), and evaluate technical tenders.
- Coordinate with telecom vendors, contractors, and internal teams to assess and select technical solutions.
- Define operational standards, ensure network safety, and support project integration, commissioning, and acceptance of new nodes.
- Analyze daily and weekly health check reports, monitor degraded KPIs, and manage alarms within agreed SLA limits.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA), lead Major Incident Reviews (MIR), update Known Error Database (KEDB) documentation, and contribute to team capability development.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the core network domain, with a strong focus on the CS (Circuit Switched) domain.
- Solid understanding of basic communication and data communication principles.
- Expert knowledge of CS core call flows and scenarios aligned with 3GPP, GSMA, IEEE, and ETSI standards.
- Proficient troubleshooting skills using tools such as Wireshark, IRIS, Tektronix, and other internal/external tracing utilities.
- In-depth knowledge of CS network nodes including VMSC, GMSC, SBC, OSS, HSS, and protocols such as SCCP, BSSAP, RANAP, SS7, SIGTRAN, M3UA, and MTP3.
- Strong technical problem-solving abilities, customer requirement analysis, and project management skills.
- Effective communication skills to engage with technical customers at all levels, from junior engineers to senior management.
- Demonstrated ability to respond quickly and make accurate decisions during critical situations.
- A proactive attitude towards continuous learning and professional growth.
