Senior D365 Functional Consultant

We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Functional Consultant with 4 to 10 years of experience specializing in Finance and Supply Chain Management (SCM). The ideal candidate will possess strong functional expertise in D365 F&O modules, comprehensive knowledge of end-to-end business processes, and hands-on experience in system configuration, implementation, or support. This role involves collaborating closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and end users to gather requirements, design effective solutions, optimize workflows, and ensure the successful delivery of D365 F&O projects and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations across Finance and SCM domains.
- Configure and support D365 F&O modules in alignment with business needs and industry best practices.
- Manage and support end-to-end business processes within Finance and Supply Chain Management.
- Partner with Finance teams on areas such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, fixed assets, and financial reporting.
- Support SCM functions including procurement and sourcing, inventory management, product information management, warehouse management, and sales order processing.
- Conduct requirement-gathering sessions, business process mapping, gap analysis, and fit-gap assessments to identify system needs.
- Prepare detailed functional specification documents and collaborate with technical teams on customizations, integrations, and system enhancements.
- Assist in system testing phases including functional testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT), while managing issue resolution.
- Support data migration, system configuration, deployment activities, and provide post-go-live support.
- Deliver end-user training, develop user guides, and contribute to change management initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes and system performance leveraging D365 F&O capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure seamless integration between Finance and SCM processes.
- Maintain comprehensive functional documentation to ensure alignment with business requirements and project goals.

Required Qualifications

- 4 to 10 years of relevant experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
- Strong functional knowledge of Finance and Supply Chain Management modules within D365 F&O.
- Proven hands-on experience in configuration, implementation, enhancements, or application support of D365 F&O.
- Deep understanding of end-to-end Finance and SCM business processes.
- Experience in business requirement gathering, functional documentation, and conducting fit-gap analysis.
- Familiarity with functional testing, UAT, defect management, and issue resolution processes.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams on customizations, integrations, and reporting requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with effective stakeholder management capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to train and support end users.
- Capability to work efficiently with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience with full lifecycle implementations of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations is highly advantageous.
- Relevant Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
