Senior Data Architect

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of Commerce and Enterprise Service Layer (ESL) solutions. This role involves defining end-to-end architecture, ensuring seamless integration between Adobe Commerce (Magento) and various enterprise platforms such as ERP, CRM, OMS, PIM, CMS, payment gateways, inventory systems, and fulfillment platforms. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership across multiple engineering teams and drive architecture governance to meet business and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Define comprehensive architecture for Commerce and ESL solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards.
- Design and implement integrations between Adobe Commerce (Magento) and enterprise systems including ERP, CRM, OMS, PIM, CMS, payment gateways, inventory, and fulfillment platforms.
- Establish robust API, microservices, messaging, and event-driven integration architectures to support scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Define and enforce architecture standards related to API security, authentication, authorization, logging, monitoring, observability, and performance management.
- Lead architecture governance processes and ensure compliance with enterprise-wide architecture standards and best practices.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to commerce, integration, backend, frontend, and platform engineering teams.
- Ensure that all solutions meet critical requirements for scalability, availability, resilience, security, and performance.
- Review technical designs, recommend architectural improvements, and promote adoption of best practices.
- Identify and manage technical risks, dependencies, constraints, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and technology teams to translate business requirements into scalable and effective architecture solutions.
- Create and maintain detailed architecture diagrams, integration specifications, API standards, and comprehensive technical documentation.
- Support platform modernization efforts including headless commerce, composable architecture, and cloud-native solutions.

Required Qualifications

- Extensive experience as a Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or Data Architect with a focus on Digital Commerce and Enterprise Integration solutions.
- Proven track record in architecting Adobe Commerce (Magento) platforms, including platform design, governance, integrations, and scalability planning.
- Strong expertise in Digital Commerce and eCommerce architecture principles and best practices.
