Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking an experienced MicroStrategy Developer with 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will be proficient in creating reports, dashboards, dossiers, and documents using MicroStrategy tools. This role requires a strong ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions while ensuring optimal performance and accuracy of BI deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain MicroStrategy reports, dashboards, dossiers, and documents to meet business needs.
- Develop and manage schema objects such as attributes, facts, hierarchies, transformations, and metrics to support data modeling.
- Create filters, prompts, custom groups, consolidations, and Intelligent Cubes to enhance report functionality and user interactivity.
- Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications and solutions.
- Perform SQL analysis, debugging, and validate reports against backend databases to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Optimize report performance and troubleshoot any production issues to maintain smooth operations.
- Support migration, upgrades, and deployment activities using Object Manager and other MicroStrategy tools.
- Collaborate closely with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable and robust BI solutions.

Required Qualifications:
- 5 to 8 years of experience working with MicroStrategy development and administration.
- Strong expertise in designing and developing MicroStrategy reports, dashboards, and dossiers.
- Proficient in creating and managing schema objects including attributes, facts, hierarchies, transformations, and metrics.
- Solid experience with SQL for data analysis, debugging, and report validation.
- Ability to optimize report performance and troubleshoot production issues effectively.
- Experience with migration, upgrade, and deployment processes using MicroStrategy Object Manager and related tools.
- Excellent communication skills to gather business requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
