We are currently looking for a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable data infrastructure, collaborating closely with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to support efficient large-scale data processing and data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust, scalable, and high-performance data pipelines and ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into data warehouses or data lakes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data requirements and implement suitable data models and database schemas.
- Optimize data pipelines and ETL workflows to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient data delivery.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to data quality, consistency, and integrity to maintain system reliability.
- Partner with data scientists and analysts by providing infrastructure and tools necessary for advanced analytics and insight generation.
- Stay updated on emerging data engineering trends and technologies, recommending innovative solutions to improve processes and systems.
- Document data engineering workflows, data flows, and system architectures to support knowledge sharing and maintain technical documentation.
- Work closely with software engineering and infrastructure teams to optimize integration of data infrastructure across systems.
Required Qualifications
- At least 6 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong background in large-scale data processing and ETL pipeline development.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala, and experience with data processing frameworks like Apache Spark.
- Strong skills in SQL and database technologies, including relational databases, SQL queries, and data modeling.
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop and Hive, along with familiarity with distributed systems and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and hands-on experience with data warehousing solutions is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively address complex data challenges.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work efficiently within cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work within deadlines.
