We are seeking a Senior Design & Application Engineer to join our team in Lahore. This full-time, on-site position involves leading the design, development, and implementation of automation and electrical engineering solutions. The successful candidate will ensure all projects comply with specifications, industry standards, company procedures, and client requirements throughout the project lifecycle. The role also requires active participation in site activities such as Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, system modifications, training, and final handover. A solid understanding of major control systems, including their working principles and functionalities, is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of control systems and automation solutions.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable standards, and client requirements.
- Participate in site activities including FAT, SAT, pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, and system modifications.
- Conduct training sessions for clients and internal teams as required.
- Manage the final handover process to clients, ensuring all documentation and systems meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and optimize system performance.
- Maintain clear and effective communication regarding technical information with stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
- 3 to 4 years of professional experience in Industrial Automation and Control Systems.
- Proven expertise in hardware design for control systems, including Distributed Control Systems (DCS).
- Strong knowledge of industrial standards, instrumentation, and control system principles.
- Hands-on experience with system testing, FAT, site work, commissioning, and startup activities.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly discuss and explain technical information.
