Senior Design & Application Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Design & Application Engineer to join our team in Lahore. This full-time, on-site position involves leading the design, development, and implementation of automation and electrical engineering solutions. The role requires ensuring all projects meet specifications, industry standards, company protocols, and client expectations from inception through to completion. The engineer will also actively participate in various site activities such as Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, system modifications, training, and final handover. A thorough understanding of major control systems, including their working principles and functionality, is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of control systems and automation solutions in compliance with project and industry standards.
- Oversee and participate in site activities including FAT, SAT, pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, and system modifications.
- Ensure all engineering work aligns with client requirements and company procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide technical training and support to clients and internal teams during and after project implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient and reliable automation solutions.
- Maintain clear and effective communication regarding technical information with stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
- 3 to 4 years of professional experience in Industrial Automation and Control Systems.
- Proven expertise in hardware design for control systems, including Distributed Control Systems (DCS).
- Strong knowledge of industrial standards, instrumentation, and control system principles.
- Hands-on experience with system testing, FAT, commissioning, and startup activities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical information clearly.
