Senior Design Specialist

At AIO Marketing, you will take full ownership of the design function, overseeing everything from social media and paid campaigns to web design, sales decks, collateral, and event materials. This role demands a keen eye for detail and a commitment to balancing quality with speed, ensuring that all outputs meet the highest standards without compromise. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will be part of a dynamic, 24-person in-house marketing team based in Islamabad, working closely with teams across social, product marketing, website, sales, and the U.S. office. You will lead the design efforts, provide direction on motion graphics and 3D content, and be the trusted authority who ensures all deliverables look impeccable and are delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the entire design function, including brand systems, quality standards, intake processes, prioritization, turnaround SLAs, tooling, and file management.
- Personally design critical assets such as campaign creatives, website pages, sales decks, launch materials, and event collateral.
- Establish and enforce the AIO brand system across all design outputs, including motion and 3D, ensuring consistency and scalability as the company grows.
- Develop templates, component libraries, and AI-assisted workflows to streamline routine requests for same-day delivery while reserving adequate time for premium projects.
- Oversee and guide motion and 3D production as the single point of accountability for the company’s visual identity.
- Manage the design roadmap and conduct regular check-ins with social, product marketing, website, sales, and U.S. teams.
- Utilize AI design tools such as Midjourney, Firefly, Figma AI, and Claude daily for concept development, iteration, and production.
- Foster the growth of the design team through constructive feedback, maintaining standards, and contributing to hiring decisions as the team expands.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 5 years of design experience, including 1–2 years in a leadership role managing design projects or small teams, preferably in-house or agency settings with a digital-first focus.
- A portfolio showcasing at least six projects demonstrating a broad range of work (campaigns, web, collateral, decks) with clear explanations of your role in each.
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), with the ability to direct motion and 3D work even if not producing it personally.
- Proven track record of ownership, having built or managed a design system, workflow, or function with measurable improvements.
- Exceptional attention to detail combined with a bias for delivering work efficiently and effectively, with a clear methodology for balancing both.
- Regular use of AI design tools, with a nuanced understanding of their strengths and limitations.
- Strong sense of ownership and initiative, managing your workload independently and setting high standards without needing constant direction.
- Ability to deliver high-quality work quickly, ask insightful questions upfront, and offer solutions rather than simply raising issues.
- Comfortable collaborating directly with cross-functional teams across different time zones, particularly with U.S.-based colleagues, without requiring formal introductions.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
