Senior Designer (AI Production & Visual Craft)

Strugbits (Pvt.) Limited, located in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi, is looking for a Senior Designer with a minimum of five years of professional experience to join their on-site team. This full-time position operates Monday through Friday, from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Strugbits is a technology-driven company specializing in web and mobile development, custom software solutions, AI-powered products, UI/UX design, and digital marketing services for international clients. The ideal candidate will possess a sharp design sensibility, able to quickly identify and articulate why certain layouts may not be effective. This role requires leading the visual output across multiple platforms, including social media, paid advertisements, product interfaces, and print materials, while integrating AI tools as a core part of the creative workflow.

Key Responsibilities
Design high-impact creatives for Meta platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, including static images, carousels, Reels covers, and motion-led ads optimized for engagement and immediate viewer attention. Utilize AI tools throughout the design process for image generation, retouching, compositing, upscaling, video, and motion, ensuring fast, consistent, and high-quality output. Take ownership of the visual hierarchy in all designs, strategically guiding viewer focus through purposeful composition. Design and refine UI/UX elements for landing pages, websites, and product screens, working closely with developers during handoff. Produce print-ready materials including brochures, standees, business cards, event collateral, and packaging, ensuring accuracy in bleeds, color profiles, and paper choices. Stay current with design trends, advertising formats, and emerging AI techniques, proactively pitching new ideas and examples to the team. Review and elevate the work of junior designers to maintain high standards across all deliverables.

Required Qualifications
Strong expertise in composition, grid systems, negative space, and visual balance is essential. Mastery of typography, including pairing, scale, rhythm, and readability for both digital and print media. Deep understanding of hierarchy and eye flow, with the ability to clearly explain design effectiveness. Excellent color sense adaptable across brand systems, digital ads, and physical print. Hands-on experience with AI design tools such as Adobe Firefly, Photoshop Generative Fill, Higgsfield, Kling, Seedance, or similar platforms. Skilled in writing and iterating AI prompts to achieve specific visual styles and correcting AI-generated outputs to avoid common artifacts like distorted hands, text errors, lighting issues, and skin tones. Sound judgment on when to apply AI tools versus traditional design methods. Knowledge of Meta ad requirements, including hooks, safe zones, aspect ratios (1:1, 4:5, 9:16), and text-to-image balance. Experience creating multiple creative variations for A/B testing and analyzing performance data. Proficiency in Figma, including components, auto-layout, design systems, and prototyping. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required. Candidates must be able to reliably commute or relocate to Karachi for on-site work.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Familiarity with usability, accessibility, and responsive design principles is a plus. Understanding of print production details such as CMYK vs. RGB, bleeds, dielines, resolution, and finishes. Awareness of current design trends without blindly following them. Strong communication skills for giving and receiving constructive feedback and defending design decisions. Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, or CapCut, alongside a current AI toolset for image, video, and upscaling tasks. Motion design and short-form video editing skills are advantageous. Experience in personal branding or founder-led content creation is welcomed. Basic copywriting ability for headlines and ad hooks is beneficial. Experience working on brand identity projects from inception is an asset.

The monthly salary for this role ranges from PKR 10,000 to PKR 140,000, commensurate with experience and skills.
