Senior Developer

As a Senior SAP Developer, you will be responsible for managing the entire development lifecycle within an SAP S/4HANA 2023 Private Cloud environment. Your role will focus on driving Clean Core and extensibility strategies, integrating SAP backend services with Fiori applications, and delivering scalable, future-proof solutions across ERP, supply chain, SAP BTP, and DevOps. You will collaborate closely with architects, functional consultants, and business stakeholders to ensure technical solutions align with business goals while fostering innovation through modern SAP technologies and automation.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the end-to-end SAP development lifecycle for SAP S/4HANA 2023 Private Cloud, ensuring delivery of scalable and high-quality enterprise solutions.
- Lead the implementation of Clean Core and extensibility strategies by developing modern solutions using ABAP, RAP, CDS Views, OData, SAP Fiori, and SAP BTP/CAP.
- Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines leveraging tools such as Git, gCTS, SAP Cloud ALM, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and GitHub to streamline deployment processes.
- Establish and promote development best practices through code reviews, governance, and mentoring to maintain high-quality, maintainable codebases.
- Drive innovation by utilizing SAP Build Suite, AI-assisted development tools like Joule and GitHub Copilot, and automation techniques to accelerate delivery timelines.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including architects, functional consultants, and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with business requirements.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 8 years of SAP development experience, including multiple SAP S/4HANA implementation projects. Strong expertise in Object-Oriented ABAP, RAP, CDS Views, OData, and Clean ABAP principles.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), Cloud Application Programming (CAP) model, side-by-side extensibility, and SAP Fiori/Fiori Elements for building modern, scalable applications.
- Proven experience implementing DevOps practices, including Git-enabled development and CI/CD automation to support efficient SAP delivery.
- Solid understanding of SAP Supply Chain modules such as Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), Logistics Execution (LE), Transportation Management (TM), and Yard Logistics. Familiarity with integration technologies including SAP Integration Suite, APIs, event-driven architectures, and IDocs.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
- A strong passion for modern SAP technologies, continuous learning, innovation, and providing technical leadership and mentoring.
