We are looking for a seasoned DevOps Engineer with a proven track record in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines that support cloud-native architectures and modern development methodologies. The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in Azure Cloud, container orchestration platforms, and Infrastructure-as-Code tools. This role requires close collaboration with development teams to drive Agile delivery and embed DevOps best practices, while ensuring infrastructure is secure, scalable, and compliant within regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines optimized for cloud-native environments and contemporary development workflows. Lead the migration and refactoring of existing pipelines to improve scalability and operational efficiency. Manage container orchestration platforms, with a focus on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and ARM Templates. Automate deployment and operational workflows through scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python. Identify and remediate container vulnerabilities and other security risks, ensuring infrastructure security and compliance, especially in regulated settings. Collaborate closely with development teams to promote Agile delivery and implement DevOps best practices. Review technical proposals, evaluate alternatives, provide accurate estimates, and make informed recommendations. Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical skills. Deliver solutions that are secure, scalable, and aligned with organizational objectives.
Required Qualifications
A minimum of seven years’ experience in DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud automation. Strong expertise in Azure Cloud services and environments. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration, preferably Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Azure Pipelines and Jenkins. Skilled in writing Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform and ARM Templates. Competent in scripting languages including PowerShell, Bash, or Python to automate deployments and operational tasks. Solid understanding of networking concepts such as IP addressing, DNS routing, firewalls, load balancers, and Web Application Firewalls (WAFs). Knowledge of cross-tenant communication and secure connectivity across multiple Azure tenants. Familiarity with Active Directory and identity management systems. Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments. Strong grasp of Agile methodologies and their practical application in software delivery.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools is highly advantageous. Exposure to database technologies like Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) is beneficial. Knowledge of cloud security best practices is preferred. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack is a plus.
