Senior DevOps Engineer

Orzeh Technologies, a Lahore-based software and AI company, specializes in delivering reliable and secure AI and data systems for real production environments. We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our fully remote team, open to candidates residing in Pakistan. This role focuses on supporting and modernizing hybrid infrastructure across both Windows and Linux platforms, combining Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), CI/CD automation, and cloud infrastructure management. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining critical production applications, including AI/ML workloads, and will thrive on automating manual processes to improve efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Groovy, automating build, testing, deployment, rollback, and release processes.
- Manage and configure Windows servers and Nginx web servers, while administering large-scale Linux environments.
- Oversee Azure infrastructure including virtual machines, storage, and networking, with additional exposure to AWS, GCP, and hybrid cloud setups.
- Support containerization efforts using Docker and Kubernetes-based orchestration platforms.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for Windows automation and other scripting solutions to reduce manual workload.
- Ensure high availability and reliability of production environments by participating in on-call rotations, incident response, root cause analysis, and setting up monitoring and observability tools.
- Manage DNS services through providers such as GoDaddy and Cloudflare, handle load balancing, and contribute to infrastructure security initiatives.
- Assist with automated QA testing using Selenium and support deployment and operation of AI/ML workloads, including GPU-enabled infrastructure.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles within distributed systems environments.
- Proven hands-on experience with Jenkins and Groovy in production settings.
- Strong proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation purposes.
- Experience managing Windows servers and Nginx in production environments.
- Solid expertise with Docker containerization and Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Comprehensive understanding of DNS management and industry best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience working with AWS, GCP, or hybrid cloud environments.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes cluster management and supporting AI/ML or GPU workloads.
- Background in writing automated tests using Selenium.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
