Senior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Kubernetes and cloud technologies to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters, developing CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and secure application delivery. This role requires hands-on experience with containerization, infrastructure automation, and cloud platforms, contributing to the continuous improvement of our production environments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Kubernetes clusters in production environments to ensure high availability and scalability.
- Develop and manage continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with development teams to containerize applications using Docker, ensuring smooth and reliable deployment workflows.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform, Terragrunt, Pulumi, or Ansible to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Monitor system performance by implementing monitoring solutions that maintain system health, optimize performance, and enhance security.
- Work closely with developers, QA, and operations teams to streamline processes, improve productivity, and foster a collaborative environment.
- Ensure security best practices are followed within containerized environments and maintain compliance with relevant industry standards.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in DevOps or cloud engineering roles with a proven track record.
- Proficient in Kubernetes with hands-on experience deploying and managing clusters in production.
- Strong understanding of Docker containerization and image management.
- Experience in designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Skilled in Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar automation frameworks.
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash or Python to automate routine tasks and processes.

Must-Have Skills:
- Deep knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, components, and operational best practices.
- Ability to create, manage, and troubleshoot Docker images and containers effectively.
- Demonstrated expertise in automating build, test, and deployment processes through CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure services and management.
- Strong capability in automating infrastructure setup and ongoing management using Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
