Senior Dotnet Developer

We are seeking a Mid-Level Full Stack .NET Developer with solid hands-on experience in C#, .NET/.NET Core, SQL Server, REST APIs, Angular/Blazor, Razor, and cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will be adept at working with both modern and legacy applications, developing scalable solutions, optimizing database performance, and supporting production environments and deployments. This role is based in Islamabad and is initially offered on a one-year contract, with the possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, maintain, and enhance full-stack applications using C#, VB.NET, .NET, and .NET Core/ASP.NET Core.
- Develop and integrate secure, scalable REST APIs leveraging Entity Framework, EF Core, LINQ, Dapper, and established design patterns.
- Build responsive web interfaces using Angular, TypeScript, Razor, Blazor, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Maintain and improve legacy applications built with C#, VB.NET, WinForms, and WebForms.
- Write complex SQL Server queries, stored procedures, functions, views, CTEs, joins, and transactions.
- Perform SQL query and database performance tuning, including indexing, execution plan analysis, stored procedure optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using OAuth 2.0, JWT, RBAC, and claims-based security.
- Develop, test, document, and troubleshoot APIs using tools such as Postman and Swagger/OpenAPI.
- Utilize Kafka for messaging, event-driven processing, and system integration tasks.
- Deploy and support applications on Azure and AWS cloud platforms, working with CI/CD pipelines.
- Use Git for source control, including branching, pull requests, code reviews, and release management.
- Write unit and integration tests to support automated testing frameworks.
- Troubleshoot production issues by analyzing logs, performing root cause analysis, and implementing fixes.
- Collaborate closely with Solution Architects, Technical Leads, Business Analysts, Mobile Developers, QA, DevOps, Database, and UI/UX teams throughout development and release cycles.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong expertise in C#, .NET, and .NET Core/ASP.NET Core.
- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS-SQL, Oracle, and familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB and Redis.
- Proficient in Entity Framework/EF Core and LINQ.
- Advanced SQL Server skills, including complex queries, stored procedures, functions, cursors, indexing, and performance tuning.
- Proven experience developing and testing REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Angular and/or Blazor, along with knowledge of Razor, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience maintaining VB.NET, WinForms, and WebForms applications.
- Familiarity with OAuth, JWT, API security, and authorization frameworks.
- Experience working with Kafka or similar messaging platforms.
- Practical knowledge of Azure and/or AWS cloud services.
- Strong Git and version control skills.
- Understanding of CI/CD processes, Docker, unit testing, debugging, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to produce clear and comprehensive technical documentation.
- Competence in unit testing, integration testing, and debugging to ensure application reliability.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Skills:
- Experience with microservices and distributed system architectures.
- Familiarity with Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
- Knowledge of Docker and containerization technologies.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as xUnit, NUnit, MSTest, and mocking tools like Moq.
- Exposure to Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins for CI/CD automation.
- Understanding of API management and cloud monitoring tools.
- Experience in modernizing legacy .NET applications.
