We are seeking a full-time Senior .NET Developer based in the Karachi Division. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining secure and scalable applications using .NET technologies while adhering to best practices in architecture and coding standards. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, implement new features, optimize existing modules, and integrate third-party services and APIs. Additionally, the role includes performing code reviews, troubleshooting technical issues, writing unit and integration tests, and contributing to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools. Mentoring junior team members, supporting documentation and deployment activities, and ensuring the high-quality delivery of digital solutions are also key aspects of this position.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable applications using .NET Core and related technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for new features and enhancements.
- Implement new functionalities and optimize existing modules to improve performance and maintainability.
- Integrate third-party services and APIs to extend application capabilities.
- Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure software quality.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the team.
- Support documentation, deployment activities, and release management to ensure smooth delivery of solutions.

Required Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) with the ability to write clean, modular, and reusable code.
- Hands-on experience in software development using .NET Core, focusing on building enterprise-grade applications and services.
- Expertise in ASP.NET MVC for web application development, RESTful API design, and front-end integration.
- Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, including ORM frameworks and data access performance optimization.
- Familiarity with source control systems like Git, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and modern development practices including Agile and test-driven development (TDD).
- Ability to analyze requirements, estimate tasks accurately, and deliver solutions within agreed timelines while collaborating effectively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with a focus on security, scalability, and maintainability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
