Senior Educational Counsellor (Worldwide)

We are seeking a dedicated Education Counselor to guide students interested in pursuing higher education abroad. The ideal candidate will provide expert advice on study opportunities across multiple countries including Malaysia, Hungary, UAE, Ireland, Sweden, Germany, Netherlands, Cyprus, France, Malta, and Turkey. This role involves assessing students’ academic backgrounds, language proficiency, financial capacity, and career goals to recommend suitable universities, programs, and study destinations. The counselor will support students throughout the application process, coordinate with universities and visa departments, and ensure a smooth transition from inquiry to enrollment.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel students on study options in various countries, considering academic qualifications, study gaps, English proficiency, financial background, and career objectives.
- Recommend appropriate universities, colleges, programs, and study destinations based on individual student profiles.
- Provide detailed information on university and college options, entry requirements, tuition fees, intakes, deadlines, scholarships, discounts, English-language requirements, study duration, application procedures, accommodation, and living costs.
- Explain country-specific admission requirements and application processes to students.
- Review and evaluate students’ educational documents to determine suitable study pathways.
- Assist students in preparing and submitting university applications accurately and timely.
- Coordinate with admissions teams, universities, and international representatives to facilitate application processing.
- Track applications from submission through offer letters to enrollment, maintaining regular follow-up with prospective students.
- Guide students on required documentation for admission and visa processing, collaborating closely with the visa department to ensure smooth case handling.
- Maintain accurate records of student inquiries, applications, offers, deposits, and enrollments.
- Achieve individual and departmental recruitment and enrollment targets by converting prospective leads into successful admissions through effective counseling and follow-up.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with students, parents, university representatives, and internal departments.
- Participate in education fairs, seminars, webinars, university visits, and other promotional activities to enhance student recruitment efforts.
- Stay updated on changes in university admission policies, country-specific requirements, scholarships, and immigration regulations.
- Provide ethical and accurate counseling without making guarantees regarding admission or visa outcomes.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience in student counseling or education consultancy, preferably with international study destinations.
- Strong knowledge of global higher education systems and admission procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and university representatives.
- Ability to assess student profiles comprehensively and recommend suitable academic pathways.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for managing multiple applications and follow-ups.
- Proficiency in coordinating with multiple stakeholders including universities and visa departments.
- Commitment to ethical counseling practices and maintaining confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs100,000 to Rs150,000.
