Key Responsibilities
- Own the entire employee relations investigation process, acting as the primary investigator for assigned cases from intake to resolution, ensuring timely and well-documented outcomes.
- Manage investigations involving a wide variety of employee concerns, including human rights, workplace conduct, safety, attendance, and other sensitive issues, providing thoughtful and well-reasoned recommendations.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of investigations, including notes and supporting documentation, ensuring consistency and timeliness.
- Serve as a trusted and approachable point of contact for employees through the open-door process, handling formal complaints and legal charges with impartiality and rigor.
- Collaborate closely with Legal and HR Business Partners to develop and implement employee relations processes, programs, and tools that enhance organizational capabilities and proactively prevent issues.
- Participate in mediation and alternative dispute resolution efforts when necessary, facilitating fair outcomes and helping involved parties reach common ground.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in HR Business Partner roles, with at least 3 years focused on employee relations and/or labor relations.
- Demonstrated expertise in conflict management, including the ability to navigate sensitive conversations, de-escalate tensions, and guide parties toward resolution.
- Strong communication skills characterized by clarity, empathy, and credibility, enabling trust-building across all organizational levels.
Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information
- Familiarity with employment laws applicable in Pakistan and India is highly desirable.
