Senior Engineer QA

Carrier Global Corporation, a global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions, is seeking a Senior Engineer QA to join their team in Hyderabad, India. This full-time role involves leading the product testing team, including platform testing, and collaborating closely with global product managers, business teams, and engineering pods to deliver high-quality products on schedule. The ideal candidate will be a test champion and mentor, adept at leveraging new technologies to enhance testing processes while ensuring alignment with Carrier’s standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee software testing activities, ensuring effective leadership, communication, and problem-solving within the team.
- Manage agile teams by working closely with global stakeholders to prioritize features and epics, plan sprints, and facilitate daily scrum meetings.
- Understand team dynamics and address challenges to maintain a productive work environment.
- Ensure timely and quality delivery of projects and testing deliverables.
- Establish clear goals, communicate them to team members, and monitor progress to maintain strong testing discipline.
- Plan, design, execute, and report on tests to verify software quality and defect-free releases.
- Collaborate with developers, project managers, and business analysts to align testing efforts with project objectives.
- Design and simulate tools for system validation and develop processes and procedures to maintain high-quality test designs.
- Foster healthy communication and information flow across teams and departments.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience, with a background growing from a Tester role.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields (BE/B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA/MS).
