Senior Engineer - RF Design Validation

The Systems Hardware Engineering group is currently seeking experienced RF Test & Validation Engineers with strong expertise in RF and wireless product validation and testing. This role involves active participation in all stages of product validation, from FPGA pre-silicon testing to post-silicon IC package/module and board-level testing. Candidates will perform RF and wireless testing for products supporting WLAN, Bluetooth (BT), BLE, and Zigbee standards. The Validation Team plays a vital role in bridging product design and datasheet development, ensuring products meet performance standards. When issues arise, the team works closely with designers to identify root causes and implement solutions. Responsibilities include operating and validating radio systems and wireless MCU domains, covering analog and digital circuits, RF and baseband signaling, power amplifiers, oscillators, and transmitter/receiver functions. The team supports a broad range of wireless solutions such as Bluetooth, Zigbee, Wi-Fi, Z-Wave, and proprietary protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct RF validation and regulatory testing for WLAN, Bluetooth, BLE, and Zigbee products.
- Debug RF design and modulation issues across WLAN, BT, BLE, and Zigbee protocols, collaborating closely with design teams to resolve problems.
- Develop and debug automation scripts using Python to test and validate products under varying temperature conditions.
- Generate Power BI reports from test data, analyze results, and contribute to datasheet creation based on findings.
- Perform board-level bring-up and debugging activities.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering.
- 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in RF and wireless product validation.
- Proficiency in Python programming and basic knowledge of C programming.
- Strong understanding of RF fundamentals and basic RF circuit design.
- Experience using test equipment such as RF signal generators, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Experience working with RF PCB boards and FPGA boards is a plus.
- Skilled in data processing and analysis using Power BI or similar tools.
