The role serves as a strategic financial partner to Quality Operations, focusing on enhancing operational efficiency through proactive management of operating expenses (OPEX) and optimizing the SAP Financial Management (FM) module to ensure accurate budget alignment. This position plays a critical role in protecting plant profitability by performing detailed financial feasibility assessments of the product portfolio. Additionally, the incumbent leads the financial structuring of international tenders to maintain competitiveness and conducts project payback evaluations. Responsibilities also include product costing, variance analysis, cost control, profitability analysis, cost improvement initiatives, and conducting time and motion studies.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and manage conversion costs based on activity-driven cost drivers.
- Analyze operational expenses, establish controls, and perform cost-benefit analyses.
- Conduct time and motion studies and evaluate product profitability.
- Prepare budgeting and forecasting for the plant, quality operations, and R&D departments.
- Perform financial feasibility assessments, OPEX analysis and management, gross profit and cost-benefit analysis, international tender evaluations, project payback calculations, and material variance analysis.
- Analyze capacity utilization, identify cost optimization opportunities, and recommend process improvements.
- Manage financial closing activities within SAP to ensure timely and accurate production plant reporting.

Required Qualifications

- Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, ACMA, CIMA, or CA.
- Between 1 to 4 years of relevant experience in financial analysis or cost management roles.
- Basic proficiency in SAP ERP, with the ability to configure reports, manage fund centers, and interpret complex variance data.
- Strong skills in building dynamic financial feasibility models using Excel or Power BI, including sensitivity analysis capabilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions, particularly with laboratory and production teams, to ensure financial alignment and operational efficiency.
