We are currently looking for a Strategic Finance Analyst (L8) to join our Finance team in Karachi. This individual contributor role carries significant impact, focusing on financial planning, budgeting, and performance reporting for key business lines. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical abilities, business insight, and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making processes.
- Perform variance analysis and deliver actionable insights on business performance across multiple financial metrics.
- Collaborate closely with business units and vertical finance teams to identify trends, evaluate risks, and uncover opportunities within financial results.
- Support month-end closing activities and prepare comprehensive management reporting packages for leadership review.
- Assist in scenario planning and strategic financial modeling to guide executive-level decisions.
- Continuously improve reporting tools and enhance data quality to boost forecasting accuracy and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- 2 to 4 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), corporate finance, or business analytics roles.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling, with the capability to handle large datasets effectively.
- Experience with ERP or FP&A software such as Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to clearly synthesize complex financial information.
- Excellent communication skills paired with a collaborative mindset and strong stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
