Senior Full-Stack Developer

We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our team in Gothenburg, Sweden, working within a hybrid model that blends office presence at Lindholmen Science Park with remote work flexibility. This hands-on role involves full ownership of technical delivery, combining cloud-native AWS development, architectural collaboration, and leadership throughout the software lifecycle. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Solution Architects, Project Managers, Designers, Product Managers, Business Analysts, and UI/UX specialists to enhance and scale partner-enabled services, APIs, and developer platforms. The ideal candidate is an experienced engineer capable of driving scalable, maintainable, secure, and high-performing solutions across both front-end and back-end applications.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical efforts alongside Project Managers and Solution Architects by taking ownership of development tasks, conducting code reviews, and guiding continuous improvement initiatives.
- Design, develop, maintain, and evolve partner solutions, reusable components, APIs, and full-stack applications using modern engineering practices.
- Collaborate with architecture, product, design, business analysis, UI/UX, and development teams to define technical solutions and ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end systems.
- Support application architecture and technical roadmap activities, advocating for scalable and maintainable designs while evaluating technologies and frameworks to enhance engineering efficiency and user experience.
- Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, automated testing strategies, performance optimization, and quality controls to deliver reliable software.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, development guidelines, reusable patterns, and team standards; actively participate in onboarding, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Explore and apply modern engineering practices, including AI-assisted development, to improve productivity, delivery speed, and software quality.
- Drive the evolution of partner service enablers and APIs, ensuring consistency, scalability, performance, reliability, and maintainability across applications.

Required Qualifications
- Extensive professional experience with TypeScript and modern full-stack application development.
- Strong hands-on expertise with AWS, including serverless architectures and cloud-native services.
- Proficiency in Node.js and React.js development.
- Experience designing, developing, and integrating REST APIs or similar service interfaces.
- Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably AWS CDK.
- Solid understanding of scalable application architecture, reusable components, integration patterns, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with automated testing, code reviews, debugging, and software quality practices.
- Demonstrated ability to take technical ownership and collaborate effectively with architects, project leads, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex issues into manageable solutions.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of professional software development experience, including several years of hands-on full-stack development in complex production environments.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Skills in facilitating technical workshops, onboarding engineers, mentoring, and sharing development standards.
- Ability to present technical concepts and innovative ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
