Senior Full Stack Developer

We are currently seeking a Senior Developer to join our Modernization team and contribute to building new web products using an AI-Driven Development Lifecycle (AI-DLC) approach. This role involves hands-on development across the full stack, leveraging AI tools like Claude Code to enhance planning, coding, and review processes while maintaining strong human oversight.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test features across the backend APIs, data layer, and user interface.
- Collaborate with Product and Development Management to translate requirements into actionable, buildable work.
- Maintain clean, well-tested, and maintainable code to ensure smooth handoffs between engineers.
- Integrate AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code into daily workflows for planning, implementation, testing, refactoring, and code review.
- Critically review AI-generated code to prevent errors from reaching production.
- Develop and share team guidelines, workflows, and standards for AI-assisted development practices.
- Use GitHub for source control, branching, pull requests, and code reviews.
- Track project progress and scope clearly using Linear or similar tools.
- Coordinate with Infrastructure and IT teams on deployment, environment management, and production support.
- Mentor team members to elevate code quality and design standards.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of professional software development experience, including at least 3 years building production APIs and services using C# and ASP.NET Core.
- Proven experience developing production user interfaces with React and TypeScript.
- Strong expertise in SQL Server, including schema design, complex query writing, and performance tuning.
- Experience writing automated tests for backend and frontend code (e.g., xUnit, Vitest).
- Daily hands-on use of Claude Code or a comparable AI coding assistant, with demonstrable examples.
- Solid understanding of AI-DLC and its impact on software planning, review, and team workflows.
- Proficient with Git and GitHub workflows, including pull requests and code reviews.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitHub Actions.
- Ability to take senior-level ownership by scoping work, making trade-offs, and delivering features through to release.
- Good judgment in balancing AI assistance with human oversight, including rigorous testing of AI outputs.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Understanding of OAuth and OpenID Connect (OIDC) for authentication and authorization.
- Experience working in a monorepo environment.
- Familiarity with end-to-end and browser testing tools such as Playwright.
- Background working with long-lived products undergoing modernization.
