Senior Full Stack Engineer – FinTech & Banking-Male only

Britannia Qualify is looking for a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Engineer to join their team and contribute to the development and maintenance of secure, scalable fintech solutions. This role focuses on digital banking, payment systems, digital wallets, and remittance platforms. The ideal candidate will have extensive professional experience working on fintech or banking software, demonstrating a strong ability to deliver robust and innovative financial technology products.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using React and Remix frameworks.
- Build scalable backend services and APIs primarily with Node.js and Python.
- Develop and integrate core functionalities related to payments, banking, wallets, and remittance services.
- Implement AI and large language model (LLM)-based solutions to enhance application capabilities.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services, including payment providers and identity verification systems.
- Ensure secure authentication, authorization, access control, and transaction workflow implementations.
- Manage webhooks, error handling, retries, and ensure reliable transaction processing.
- Maintain accurate audit records and transaction-related data for compliance and traceability.
- Write and maintain automated tests, participate in code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and support software releases.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and QA teams to deliver features from initial requirements through to deployment.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 5 years of professional full stack development experience.
- Proven hands-on experience developing or maintaining fintech, banking, payment, digital wallet, or remittance software.
- Strong expertise in Node.js, JavaScript, and Python programming languages.
- Professional experience working with React and Remix frameworks.
- Solid understanding of designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Good knowledge of databases, authentication mechanisms, access control, and web security best practices.
- Familiarity with AI and generative AI technologies and their application in software development.
- Experience with Git version control, code reviews, testing, debugging, and providing production support.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

- Experience working with financial ledgers, reconciliation processes, KYC/KYB integrations, or transaction monitoring systems.
- Familiarity with MongoDB, relational databases, Docker containerization, cloud deployment environments, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of audit trails, security practices, and compliance requirements relevant to financial software development.
