LN Technologies, a subsidiary of App Maisters Inc USA, is a leading Enterprise App Development company specializing in Mobility, Web, Business Intelligence, and Cloud-based solutions. With over 400 successful projects, we serve a diverse range of clients, from startups and small businesses to large multinational corporations. We are currently seeking a Business Analyst to join our sales and business development team based in Houston, TX, USA. This role focuses on managing RFP processes and supporting enterprise app and cloud solution development for clients of varying sizes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end Request for Proposal (RFP) process, including analyzing requirements, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely submission of high-quality proposals. Collaborate closely with sales, technical experts, and subject matter specialists to gather information and develop content tailored to client needs.
- Conduct interviews and workshops with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements. Translate these into functional specifications and user stories that align with project goals.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement by analyzing existing workflows and systems. Work with stakeholders to streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and optimize resource allocation.
- Analyze complex data sets to uncover trends and insights that support data-driven decision-making and strategic planning. Present findings clearly to management and stakeholders.
- Manage relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including business users, project managers, developers, and executives. Facilitate communication, manage expectations, and ensure alignment between business objectives and technical solutions.
- Prepare detailed documentation such as business requirements, process flows, use cases, and functional specifications. Generate reports and deliver presentations on project status, key metrics, and recommendations.
- Support quality assurance efforts by defining test scenarios and acceptance criteria. Collaborate with testing teams to ensure solutions meet requirements and quality standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong focus on managing RFPs. Experience within the software or technology industry is preferred.
- Deep understanding of RFP processes, including requirements analysis, proposal development, and vendor evaluation. Familiarity with RFP software tools and platforms is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in requirements gathering, process modeling, and functional specification development. Knowledge of Agile methodologies is desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively, facilitate meetings, and present complex information clearly.
- Solid data analysis skills, including proficiency in Excel and familiarity with data visualization tools.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at various levels, along with strong negotiation and conflict resolution capabilities.
- High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation and deliverables.
Preferred Qualifications and Additional Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. Certifications such as Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP) or Project Management Professional (PMP) are a plus.
- High energy level, self-motivated, and committed to self-development.
- Strong motivation for sales, with experience in sales administration and meeting sales goals.
- Ability to handle rejection, uncertainty, and pressure with confidence and professionalism.
- Solid business knowledge and excellent verbal communication skills are essential.
