Careem is transforming the Middle East by developing the Everything App, which simplifies daily activities such as transportation, food and grocery ordering, and payment management. Since its inception in 2012, Careem has empowered over 2.5 million Captains and served more than 70 million customers across 70+ cities in 10 countries, spanning from Morocco to Pakistan. As the company moves into an AI-driven phase, it is seeking innovative AI professionals to create impactful tools, automate workflows, and improve operational efficiency. The Senior Growth Analyst will play a critical role in driving data-driven strategies to accelerate user acquisition, engagement, and retention across Careem’s platforms by leveraging advanced analytics and a strong understanding of consumer behavior and growth metrics.
Key Responsibilities
Data Collection and Preparation: Extract data from multiple sources, including SQL databases, APIs, and third-party platforms. Clean and transform datasets to ensure accuracy and usability. Maintain data integrity through routine quality checks and automate data pipelines to improve efficiency.
Analysis and Insights: Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends and patterns across channels, verticals, and campaigns. Design, implement, and analyze A/B tests to assess growth initiatives. Analyze user behavior and segment performance to support growth, engagement, and retention strategies. Utilize predictive analytics to forecast trends and outcomes.
Reporting and Visualization: Develop and maintain real-time dashboards using tools such as Tableau and Power BI. Produce automated weekly and monthly reports highlighting key metrics and performance indicators. Monitor and report on core growth KPIs, including retention, churn, and acquisition metrics.
Required Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics from a Tier-1 institute is essential. Candidates should have 3-4 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within large-scale B2C startups such as food delivery, e-commerce, gaming, or consumer internet sectors. Proficiency in data mining, statistical modeling, and advanced data analysis is required. Strong skills in Python, SQL, and data visualization tools like Power BI, VBA, Tableau, and PowerPoint are necessary. Experience applying AI and large language models (LLM) for task automation is highly valued. A deep understanding of A/B testing, regression analysis, and user segmentation is critical. Candidates must demonstrate expertise in behavioral analytics applied to growth models and possess excellent communication skills to clearly present complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
