We are looking for a Senior HR Specialist to lead Talent Acquisition and People Operations for our US-based workforce. This role requires managing end-to-end recruitment across multiple departments such as Operations, Sales, Marketing, Deployment, and Supply Chain. In addition, the position oversees essential HR functions including employee lifecycle management, payroll, benefits administration, leave management, compliance, employee relations, and offboarding. The ideal candidate is a proactive and hands-on HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, communicates effectively across cultures and time zones, and has strong expertise in US HR practices, HR technology, and AI-enabled workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:
Manage the complete recruitment process for roles across Operations, Sales, Marketing, Deployment, and Supply Chain. Work closely with US-based hiring managers to understand role requirements and team culture. Source, screen, and interview candidates, maintaining a robust talent pipeline through platforms like LinkedIn and local job boards. Handle offer processes, negotiations, and ensure a seamless onboarding experience. Proactively build and maintain talent pipelines and a warm bench of qualified candidates for critical positions.

HR Operations & People Operations:
Act as the primary HR contact for all US employees, managing the entire employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding. Ensure compliance with federal employment eligibility by managing I-9 completion and E-Verify processing for new hires. Oversee offboarding procedures including COBRA notices, unemployment claim responses, final pay compliance, and coordination with IT for access revocation. Coordinate payroll processing and reconciliation with Justworks to ensure accurate and timely compensation. Administer employee leave programs such as FMLA, ADA accommodations, state-mandated leave, and PTO tracking. Manage benefits administration and maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS system. Support the development and enforcement of HR policies and procedures that comply with local labor laws and align with company culture. Foster a positive work environment by managing employee relations, addressing grievances, and promoting engagement and high performance. Support performance management including documentation of improvement plans, disciplinary actions, and terminations. Monitor employee hours to identify potential overtime or wage-and-hour issues and escalate to leadership as needed.

Required Qualifications
3 to 5 years of HR experience with a strong focus on recruitment and HR operations within the US market. Proven ability to manage full-cycle recruitment, especially for Operations, Sales, and Marketing roles, with a keen understanding of diverse role requirements and cultural fit. Comfortable working in ambiguous situations, demonstrating high ownership and the ability to build processes from the ground up. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to influence and build relationships across cultures and time zones. Proficiency with HRIS systems, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency. Willingness and ability to work a night shift schedule to support cross-time-zone collaboration with a positive attitude.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Join a Silicon Valley-funded startup focused on transforming the US restaurant industry through an all-in-one platform powered by patented AI technology. Our mission is to empower restaurant owners to streamline operations, increase revenue, reduce costs, and improve profitability. You will be part of a fast-growing company targeting the $55 billion restaurant tech SaaS market, contributing to a world-class team dedicated to innovation and exceptional customer support.
