Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement AWS multi-account architectures using AWS Organizations to support scalable cloud environments.
- Develop and manage centralized AWS networking solutions utilizing AWS Transit Gateway.
- Configure and maintain Route 53 public and private hosted zones for DNS management.
- Build and operate containerized applications on Amazon ECS running on EC2 infrastructure.
- Implement observability solutions to monitor container workloads effectively.
- Perform software upgrades and maintain system security, monitoring, and incident management protocols.
- Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to enhance development workflows.
- Improve build and release tooling and processes to increase efficiency and reliability.
- Introduce new automation technologies aimed at accelerating engineering velocity and improving quality.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex AWS networking and container-related issues to ensure system stability.
Required Qualifications:
- 6 to 9 years of experience managing infrastructure as code, with a strong focus on defining and maintaining desired states.
- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure and architecture, particularly in AWS Organizations and multi-account setups.
- Deep understanding of AWS networking concepts and best practices.
- Proficient with Amazon ECS, EC2, and Auto Scaling Groups (ASG).
- Strong knowledge of Docker and containerized application deployment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Solid understanding of DevOps methodologies, cloud engineering, and operational processes.
- Practical experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins and Git for automation and version control.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years working with AWS services in production environments.
- At least 4 years of experience using infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- 4+ years of experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- 4+ years of experience working with Linux operating systems.
- 3+ years of experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet or Ansible.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with containerization technologies.
