Senior Instructional Designer – AI & Learning Content

We are seeking a Senior Instructional Designer – AI & Learning Content to create and develop high-quality training programs and learning materials for both Edge talent and internal employees. This hands-on role involves instructional design, AI-powered content creation, and learning experience development. The successful candidate will use AI tools and modern learning technologies to transform business needs, industry knowledge, and subject matter expertise into engaging and effective training content. Collaboration with subject matter experts, development of assessments, and occasional facilitation of training sessions will also be part of the role.

Key Responsibilities

- Design structured training programs, onboarding modules, role-based certifications, and learning paths tailored to job roles and competencies.
- Utilize AI tools to create, refine, and scale training content such as presentations, guides, scripts, assessments, and instructional materials.
- Translate complex information and processes into clear, practical, and easy-to-understand learning content.
- Develop engaging learning experiences using various digital formats including videos, interactive modules, simulations, and scenarios.
- Apply instructional design frameworks and adult learning principles to align content with clear learning objectives.
- Build reusable templates and workflows to improve training development speed and consistency.
- Review and validate AI-generated content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and instructional quality.
- Develop assessments, quizzes, practical exercises, and certification materials aligned with learning goals.
- Create realistic scenarios and practice-based activities to facilitate real-world application of knowledge.
- Incorporate learner feedback and performance data to continuously improve content quality.
- Maintain and update learning materials in response to evolving business processes and industry standards.
- Explore and experiment with AI-powered tools for content creation, multimedia development, and workflow automation.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather requirements and develop relevant training solutions.
- Facilitate training sessions as needed and gather feedback to enhance learning experiences.
- Manage multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.

Required Qualifications

- 3–4 years of experience in Instructional Design, Learning & Development, Training Content Development, or related fields.
- Proven ability to design and develop structured training programs and educational content.
- Practical experience using generative AI tools to create or enhance training materials.
- Skilled in creating presentations, instructional guides, assessments, and learning modules.
- Strong understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning methodologies, and learning objectives.
- Ability to simplify complex information into clear, engaging, and well-organized content.
- Experience with digital content creation tools, presentation software, and learning technologies.
- Excellent written communication, research, editing, and content organization skills.
- Competence in validating AI-generated outputs for factual accuracy and instructional quality.
- Strong project management skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deliverables independently.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with subject matter experts and facilitate training sessions.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Familiarity with U.S. healthcare, medical, dental, insurance, accounting, staffing, or related industries is highly desirable.
- Experience converting industry-specific processes or technical information into training content is an advantage.
- Experience with AI-powered content creation tools for presentations, videos, voiceovers, or interactive learning.
- Knowledge of LMS/LXP platforms and digital learning authoring tools.
- Experience developing role-based learning paths, certification programs, and competency assessments.
- Background in building training content for distributed or remote workforces.
- A portfolio showcasing training materials, e-learning modules, presentations, or AI-assisted learning projects is a plus.
