Senior Java Developer – Full Stack

We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Engineer with expertise in Java Spring Boot to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java and the Spring ecosystem, including building RESTful APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-native applications. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to create reliable software solutions, integrate third-party systems, enhance platform architecture, and contribute to both backend and frontend components when needed.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java (JDK 17) and Spring Boot, following clean architectural principles.
- Build secure, versioned, and well-documented RESTful APIs with robust validation and error handling.
- Develop microservices leveraging Spring Cloud and distributed system architectures.
- Implement extension points, interceptors, bean lifecycle hooks, and Spring ApplicationContext integrations.
- Own features through the entire lifecycle from design to production support.
- Design, build, and consume RESTful APIs adhering to OpenAPI/Swagger standards.
- Integrate third-party platforms, external services, and connected devices.
- Develop asynchronous, event-driven workflows using RabbitMQ or Kafka.
- Ensure reliable service-to-service communication while managing shared dependencies.
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL or MySQL databases, including schemas, indexes, and complex queries.
- Develop persistence layers using MyBatis or MyBatis-Plus and manage database versioning with Liquibase.
- Maintain transactional consistency, concurrency control, and data integrity in distributed systems.
- Implement distributed caching strategies with Redis.
- Develop background jobs, schedulers, and asynchronous processing mechanisms.
- Identify and resolve scalability issues, performance bottlenecks, and race conditions.
- Enhance backend reliability through improved observability, logging, monitoring, and auditing.
- Implement authentication and authorization using Spring Security, applying secure coding practices.
- Collaborate across backend and frontend teams, contributing to modern web applications using Vue.js, TypeScript, or similar frameworks when required.
- Work with Docker and containerized deployment workflows, supporting CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Manage application configurations across development, staging, and production environments.
- Utilize AWS or similar cloud platforms for infrastructure management.
- Participate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and code reviews.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, Frontend, DevOps, and Engineering teams to maintain high standards of code quality, documentation, testing, and best engineering practices.

Required Qualifications

- 4–5 years of professional experience in backend development using Java.
- Strong expertise in Java (JDK 17), Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Cloud, Spring AOP, and Spring ApplicationContext.
- Proven experience designing and developing RESTful APIs with OpenAPI/Swagger.
- Solid understanding of microservices and distributed system architecture.
- Experience building modular or plugin-based applications, including extension points, interceptors, and JAR-based module loading.
- Hands-on experience with RabbitMQ or Kafka and event-driven architectures.
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL or MySQL databases.
- Proficiency with MyBatis or MyBatis-Plus for persistence layer development.
- Experience implementing Redis caching.
- Familiarity with Docker and containerized deployment environments.
- Working knowledge of AWS or similar cloud infrastructure.
- Ability to work across backend and frontend technologies.
- Understanding of concurrency, scalability, distributed systems, and application performance optimization.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
