Tech Bridge Consultancy is looking for a Senior PHP Laravel Developer to join their team in Lahore, Pakistan. The ideal candidate will have between 5 to 7 years of professional experience and a strong passion for coding, particularly with the Laravel framework. This role requires excellent English communication skills to effectively engage with international clients and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The position involves working on scalable web applications and contributing throughout all phases of the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and enhance scalable web applications using PHP and Laravel. Write clean, secure, and efficient code that follows industry best practices. Troubleshoot, test, and optimize applications to ensure high performance and reliability. Design and maintain databases with a focus on availability and data integrity. Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services such as Google, Facebook, and Stripe. Work closely with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver quality features on time. Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers. Actively contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment.
Required Qualifications
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required. Candidates should have 4 to 6 years of experience in web development using PHP, Laravel, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and XML. Strong expertise in database design, SQL, and version control systems like Git is essential. A deep understanding of both object-oriented and procedural PHP programming is necessary. Proven experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs is expected. Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong analytical mindset are important. Candidates must demonstrate outstanding verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts. Attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team are critical.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience with React or Joomla is considered an advantage. Familiarity with cloud platforms and deployment processes will also be beneficial. This is a full-time, in-person position based in Lahore. Candidates will be asked to provide information about their English communication proficiency, years of experience with Laravel, experience mentoring junior developers or participating in code reviews, and their approach to ensuring web application security.
