Senior Linux & Network Administrator

Our mission is to push the boundaries of creativity and technology by leveraging AI to create captivating entertainment. We are currently seeking a Senior Linux and Network Administrator to take full ownership of our production Linux servers and network services, including maintenance, new deployments, incident management, and ongoing research.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the configuration and deployment of Linux network services, ensuring a reliable rollback plan is in place.
- Administer WireGuard, RADIUS (FreeRADIUS), LDAP, KanIDM, and Active Directory–style directory services, including management of groups, credentials, and replication processes.
- Design and implement Ansible automation for new hosts and services, while overseeing DNS, TLS, and firewall policies.
- Lead root cause investigations for complex authentication, connectivity, or capacity issues when no clear cause is identified.
- Own the monitoring infrastructure, including alerting, telemetry, and log/event review using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and syslog.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments across the server fleet and ensure effective remediation is applied.
- Develop proofs of concept for new technologies or approaches, recommend production readiness, and maintain up-to-date runbooks and documentation.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related discipline.
- 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in Linux system administration and network operations, with direct responsibility for production changes.
- Proven production experience working with RADIUS and directory services such as KanIDM, LDAP, or Active Directory, along with WireGuard or similar VPN/tunnel technologies.
- Strong skills in Ansible automation, Linux server monitoring, and vulnerability remediation processes.
