 Job Type: Two Years Contract and Extendable

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist team members in technical aspects of Renewable Energy Projects.
  • Provide technical assistance in design and implementation of renewable/alternate energy projects, particularly related to Solar and Hydropower.
  • Conduct extensive field visits to project areas of KPK, FATA & Baluchistan to monitor implementation of Renewable Energy projects and ensure quality compliance with respect to the approved design and technical specifications.
  • Regularly coordinate with project stakeholders on matters relating to Renewable Energy projects.
  • Conduct field and desk appraisals of Partner Organizatoins for new Renewable Energy initiatives.
  • Assist team in overall project management including financial management and tracking of cash flows related to financing agreements.
  • Maintain data/information and prepare field visit and other periodic reports.

JOB KNOWLEDGE

  • Minimum 16 year education or at least Bachelors degree of Electrical or Electronics Engineering from HEC recognized national/ international institution.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience including 1-2 years relevant experience in Renewable Energy sector will be preferred.
  • Willing to travel extensively to project areas of KPK, FATA & Baluchistan.
  • Knowledge of all sources of renewable energy; particularly solar and hydropower.
  • Ability to communicate effectively on technical concepts and interpretation of technical drawings/data.
  • Computer proficiency, including experience with Windows-based office applications including familiarity with design software’s for Renewable Energy technologies (Homer, PV-Sol, PV-Syst etc.)
  • Good writing and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience in Budgeting for the tasks assigned to him/her.
  • Team Working Skills to work in a team oriented working environment.
  • Operational understanding along with good problem solving skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and relationship management skills.
  • Written communication skills and presentation skills with proficiency in MS Office Suite (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project Management).
  • Adaptability Skills in order to work with different units.
  • Time management skills and the ability to multi-task.
