Senior Manager (Central Lab - Spinning)

Premium Textile Mills is looking for a seasoned Senior Manager to lead its Central Lab for Spinning, which serves as the core center for all testing operations and supports research and development activities within the spinning division. This leadership role requires a hands-on textile professional who can ensure quality assurance, maintain testing accuracy, and drive continuous process improvements across a diverse range of yarn types.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all testing operations in the Central Lab, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with international quality standards.
- Oversee testing and quality evaluation for all yarn types, including Melange, Autocoro, Cotton, RGs, and other specialty yarns.
- Support and actively contribute to R&D initiatives, trials, and product development efforts within the spinning function.
- Analyze and interpret test results, providing clear and actionable recommendations to spinning, quality, and production teams.
- Establish and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), calibration schedules, and all relevant quality documentation for the lab.
- Lead, train, and mentor the lab team to enhance technical capabilities and ensure effective succession planning.
- Collaborate closely with production and quality leadership to conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure strict compliance with customer specifications and industry quality standards at all times.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering is essential; only candidates with a textile engineering background will be considered.
- Proven experience working in spinning lab or testing environments with comprehensive knowledge of all yarn types, including Melange, Autocoro, Cotton, RGs, and related varieties.
- Strong understanding of yarn testing methodologies, instruments, and quality standards.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills with the ability to develop and guide technical teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to effectively interpret data and collaborate across departments.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in research and development or product development within the spinning sector is highly desirable.
