We are seeking a skilled professional to lead the design and implementation of Emissions Trading Systems (ETS) and carbon pricing strategies. The role involves close collaboration with consultancy firms and individual experts to develop effective ETS frameworks, including conducting industrial surveys and constructing baselines. The successful candidate will coordinate with various internal departments and external authorities to ensure smooth execution and alignment with regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design and implementation of ETS and carbon pricing strategies to meet organizational and regulatory goals.
- Support the hiring process of consultancy firms specializing in ETS to ensure the selection of qualified experts.
- Collaborate with consulting firms and individual consultants working on ETS projects, providing assistance during industrial surveys and baseline construction.
- Coordinate effectively with relevant departments and external authorities to facilitate seamless project execution and compliance.
- Recommend and develop appropriate marketing systems tailored to the ETS framework.
- Define and prescribe necessary institutional arrangements, including the selection and implementation of software systems to support ETS operations.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience in designing and implementing Emissions Trading Systems or carbon pricing mechanisms.
- Strong understanding of environmental policies, carbon markets, and regulatory frameworks related to ETS.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate with consultancy firms and external experts.
- Excellent project management and communication skills to liaise with multiple stakeholders.
- Familiarity with industrial survey methodologies and baseline construction for emissions data.
- Knowledge of software systems relevant to ETS management and reporting.
