Senior Manager, Virtualization & Citrix.MGN Pak - TECH - Technical Services.MIT - PAKCOE

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Manager specializing in Virtualization and Citrix Support to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in virtualization technologies, particularly VMware, along with strong expertise in Windows Server environments and automation tools such as Ansible. A solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is critical for success in this role. This position requires a proactive and self-motivated professional with 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in engineering and administration of relevant technologies and products.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, deploy, and manage the organization’s infrastructure platform, ensuring high availability, scalability, and optimal performance of mission-critical systems.
- Oversee the management of Wintel and VMware environments, maintaining stability and security.
- Deploy and manage VMware ESXi, vSAN, and associated solutions including vRealize Suite, Aria, Site Recovery Manager (SRM), and RP4VM to support virtualization and application delivery requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement automation using tools like Ansible, enhancing operational efficiency and consistency.
- Lead initiatives related to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to streamline infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and ensure seamless service delivery.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.
- Stay current with emerging virtualization technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve the infrastructure environment.

Required Qualifications

- 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in virtualization engineering and administration, specifically with VMware technologies.
- Strong expertise in managing Windows Server environments.
- Proficiency with VMware ESXi, vSAN, vRealize Suite, Aria, SRM, and RP4VM.
- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible for configuration management and deployment.
